Bambinos South - Local Favorite Opens New South Location
/One of Springfield's best Italian restaurants, Bambinos, has opened a new location at the corner of Battlefield and Lone Pine in southeast Springfield. Today's Foodie Friday finds the team chowing down on some of Springfield's best Italian cuisine!
Interior/Decor: Very "casual" but with an Italian flair! Similar to the decor of the original restaurant near Phelps Grove.
Staff: Our waiter was excellent. Ask for Nick.
Cuisine: Wonderful as always! Do yourself a favor and go to both locations. Each are unique in their own way but the food is hard to beat. We ordered the Chicken and Artichoke Panini and "The Bambino" (Cavatelli pasta cooked in meat sauce smothered in melted provel cheese). Take a look at the pictures and tell me your not hungry. Seriously.
Prices: Expect to spend $8 - $10 on lunch.
Overall: 8/10 - Another lunch spot favorite - which is now in walking distance from our office.
